FEATURES
Absorbency quality at a huge 20 litres per m² ensures that any shape, from bottles to bags, vials and jars, can be sent in its own custom formed cavity and in the event of spillage, every drop will be absorbed. The contour hugging features of a thermoformed product provide excellent shock absorption qualities too.
An additional benefit of this extraordinarily absorbent thermoformed material is, should the container begin to leak, the super absorber swells where the snugly held container comes in contact with the liquid, gel blocking occurs therefore ‘plugging’ the leak.
The product can be colour coded and manufactured with a clear lid to improve visibility. The super absorbent material can be brand printed and clearly seen through the outer packaging. In the event of spillage, discolouration in the absorbent material provides an excellent spillage indicator without the recipient having to open the package.
During our research period Royal Mail implemented their Pricing in Proportion policy, making packages <25mm deep very expensive. Dyecor’s contour-hugging Thermacor pack enables customers sending liquid containers >25mm to save more on the postage than the packaging cost itself by staying within the Large Letter tariff.
Many UN3373 specimen containers are already 95kpa rated. Where this is not the case, Thermacor is fitted with an internal o-ring and unique plastic extruded outer clip to form an edge seal for any shape or size, making a fully 95kpa rated package.
Finally, after product use, the super absorber can be washed from the material leaving the rest of the package, made entirely from polypropylene, suitable for recycling.
