Now for Exports...

Roderick Davidson, Managing Director and owner of Dyecor says, "The standard reply from all buyers is that they can source any product cheaper in China. Unless a British manufacturing company has a niche product with intellectual property protection then margins are likely to be so thin that there is little scope for expansion or providing all the vital activities a small company needs to grow… R&D, marketing, capital investment and recruitment.

For the last three years Thermacor has been the focus of our medical division at Dyecor. Sales in our medical division have grown from zero to well over a million in this sector and as yet we have not even tapped into the export market at all. This prestigious award gives us both the confidence and profile to do just that!

Dyecor's customer list reads like a Who’s Who of medical companies and includes Primary Care Trusts, Screening Projects and laboratories throughout the UK.

The Lord-Lieutenant of Herefordshire, Lady Darnley presents The Queen's Award to Dyecor's Managing Director, Roderick Davidson.

Dyecor Ltd is proud to announce it has won the prestigious 2010 Queen's Award for Enterprise - Innovation for "Thermacor".

Dyecor U plus 2Thermacor is a highly absorbent plastic which can be moulded into any shape of packaging to transport medical supplies. From bottles to bags, vials and jars, liquids can be carried in their own custom formed cavity and in the event of spillage, every drop will be absorbed.

By law, any liquid sample must not be able to leak and "Thermacor" provides a low cost slimline construction which greatly reduces transport costs. Click here for more information on Thermacor.

Dyecor continues to develop new products for the medical packaging industry, working with blue-chip customers and supply chain partners to create excellence in packaging.
